South Coast Sawmills and Bush Timber Workers Association Incorporated is an organisation dedicated to preserving the history of the men and women who, through the years and even now, have laboured tirelessly in the harshest conditions in the industry that laid the foundations of our southern region.

"Without their stories, mills, saws and logs are just iron, steel and wood; they carry no meaning, they are just things. But with their stories, they are our remembrance of the past and the creators of our present. We identify with them and are identified by them; they are our heritage that we may squander, or bequeath if we are so minded".
